Your contract is with Afghanistan Attractions Tourist and Travel Agency, Licence ATO-HRT-0320, Herat, Afghanistan.

Thank you for taking the time to read these policies. Clear policies in every contract prevent discomfort and confusion, so please read them carefully and then sign them. After your signature, the invitation letter will be sent to you.

1. Booking policy

  1. To make a booking, the client completes the booking form.
  2. An advance payment of 10% of the total tour cost is paid into the bank account nominated on the booking form.
  3. The completed and signed policies and booking form are emailed to info@afghanistanattractions.com with the receipt of the advance payment.
  4. An invitation letter and a copy of our licence are then emailed to you so you can apply for your Afghanistan tourist visa.
  5. A copy of your visa is emailed to info@afghanistanattractions.com.
  6. The remaining 90% is paid in cash at the pre-tour meeting on the first day of your tour.
  7. Travel payments should be made in hundred-dollar bills, because smaller notes lose value when exchanged.

2. Cancellation policy

  • All cancellations must be in writing and written by the person named on the booking form.
  • The advance payment is not refunded once the client has signed these policies. If the client has reasonable grounds, such as illness or the death of a relative, 50% of the advance payment is refunded.
  • If the client, after receiving our invitation letter, ends the relationship with the agency for any reason and enters Afghanistan independently and without notifying us, Afghanistan Attractions is not responsible.
  • If the client stops the tour after one or more days and leaves Afghanistan for any reason, the full cost of the trip is payable.
  • If Afghanistan Attractions cancels the tour due to unforeseen circumstances or civil or political unrest, all or part of the tour cost is refunded, depending on when the cancellation occurs.

3. Local laws

The client is required to follow local laws and regulations. Our tour leaders will guide you on being sensitive to local customs, traditions and practices. Afghanistan Attractions reserves the right to expel, without refund, clients who refuse to follow our company policies or who show disrespect to Afghan culture and religion.

4. Travel insurance

Afghanistan Attractions is not liable for claims relating to loss or theft of personal items, accidents, personal injury, sickness, medical expenses or property damage occurring while the client is on tour with us.

5. Force majeure

Force majeure means any unusual or unforeseeable event beyond the company’s control whose consequences could not have been avoided even with all due care — including, but not limited to, riots, civil unrest, epidemics and natural disasters. Afghanistan Attractions cannot accept liability for any loss, damage or expense resulting from force majeure.

6. Privacy policy

Any personal information requested by Afghanistan Attractions will not be shared with any third party.
